Private Houston to Galveston car service
Black Suburban and 14-passenger Sprinter transfers, door to door from any Houston address to the Port of Galveston. A fixed rate per vehicle, with flight tracking and meet-and-greet included.
Fixed rates, no surge pricingPrivate black car service to the Galveston cruise port

The shared shuttle only runs from the airports. A private transfer runs from anywhere. If you live in Houston, are staying with family in the suburbs, or want your own vehicle door to door, private car service is the option that actually covers you.
Every private Houston to Galveston transfer is black car service: a late-model black Chevrolet Suburban for one to six passengers, or a black Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for groups up to fourteen. The rate is fixed per vehicle at booking. It does not move with demand, and it does not change if traffic on the Gulf Freeway is heavy.
What a private transfer includes
- Door-to-door pickup from any Houston address: home, hotel, office, or airport terminal.
- Meet-and-greet at baggage claim, on airport pickups only. Your driver holds a name sign and helps with luggage.
- Flight tracking on airport pickups, so a delayed flight moves your pickup rather than costing you the fare. There is no flight to track on a home or hotel pickup.
- Your vehicle alone. No other passengers, no extra stops, no waiting for a van to fill.
- All cruise luggage included, with help loading it.
- A fixed rate agreed at booking. Tolls and fuel included.
- A fixed rate that does not move with demand or traffic.
Black Suburban or Sprinter?

Black Suburban

The default private vehicle. Comfortable for a couple, and it swallows a family's worth of cruise luggage without a roof box.
14-Seat Sprinter

For multi-cabin groups and extended families. Everyone rides in one vehicle instead of being split across two.
When private is the right call
Private is not always the answer. If you are one or two people flying into Hobby, a shared seat at $39 is simply cheaper and lands you in the same place. Private earns its rate in four situations.
- You are a group of seven or more. Past six passengers a shared booking can be split across vans, and you are into Sprinter territory anyway. A Sprinter keeps everyone and the luggage in one vehicle.
- You are not starting at an airport. Katy, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Pearland, downtown. The shared van does not go there. Private does.
- Your timing is unusual. A 5 AM pickup or a late-evening arrival falls outside the shared schedule.
- You want to stay together. Shared operators routinely split groups across vehicles. A private booking cannot be split.
Every Houston area we serve

Shuttle Protection, included on every shared seat
Most shared shuttles to the Galveston cruise port are non-refundable. Ours is not. If a delayed flight, a canceled flight, or a late ship arrival causes you to miss your shared pickup, you get a full refund, and we will move you to a later van when there is room. You can also cancel for any reason up to 2 hours before pickup.
Refunds are returned less a small card processing fee. Full terms are shown at checkout.

Booking a private shuttle Houston to Galveston
A private shuttle Houston to Galveston is the whole vehicle at a fixed rate, door to door from any Houston address to any Galveston cruise terminal. A black Suburban carrying one to six passengers starts at $249; a 14-seat Sprinter for seven to fourteen starts at $590.
Unlike a shared seat, a private shuttle Houston to Galveston runs direct — about 45 minutes from Hobby and about 1 hour 15 minutes from Bush Intercontinental — and departs at whatever time you choose rather than on an hourly schedule. On airport pickups it includes meet-and-greet at baggage claim, where your driver waits with a name sign.
A private shuttle Houston to Galveston is also the only option we run from Houston suburbs. Shared seats depart IAH and Hobby only, so a pickup from Katy, The Woodlands, Sugar Land, Clear Lake, Pearland, Cypress, Kingwood, Spring, Missouri City, the Heights, the Galleria or downtown is a private booking.
You can add a stop on a private shuttle Houston to Galveston — Buc-ee's in Texas City, Space Center Houston at Clear Lake, or Moody Gardens on the island. Tell us at booking and the time is built into the route. A shared van runs a fixed route and cannot deviate.
To book a private shuttle Houston to Galveston, give us the pickup address, date, party size and the terminal number from your boarding pass. Call 832.899.4040 for groups above 14, hourly hire, or a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

A black Suburban starts at $249 for the whole vehicle, one way, and $257 from IAH. A 14-seat Sprinter starts at $590, or $600 from IAH. Rates rise to $317 for the Suburban from the furthest pick-up areas. The rate is per vehicle, not per person.
Black car service only. A late-model black Chevrolet Suburban for one to six passengers, and a black Mercedes-Benz Sprinter for groups of seven to fourteen.
Yes. Private transfers are door to door from any address in the greater Houston area, including Katy, Spring, The Woodlands, Pearland, Sugar Land, downtown, and the Heights.
Yes, on airport pickups. Your driver meets you near baggage claim with a name sign and helps with your luggage. On a home or hotel pickup the driver simply arrives at the address at the agreed time.
On an airport pickup we track your inbound flight and adjust to your actual landing time, so a delay moves your pickup rather than losing it. On a home or hotel pickup there is no flight to track, so just call us if your plans move. Private cancellation terms are shown at checkout.
Not usually. At these rates a shared seat is cheaper per person whenever the shared van runs, which is between the airports and the port. Private is worth it when you want your own vehicle, a door-to-door pickup from somewhere the shared van does not serve, or when a group of seven or more would otherwise be split across vans.
Call 832.899.4040. We can arrange multiple vehicles or a larger coach for bigger groups.
No. The rate quoted at booking includes tolls and fuel. There is no surge pricing.
