Two ways to reach the Galveston cruise port

Every Houston to Galveston transfer we run falls into one of two categories. A shared seat in a shuttle van, which is the cheapest way to get from a Houston airport to your ship, or a private black vehicle, which is a fixed rate for the whole car from any address in the Houston area.

Private vehicles

Private transfers are black car service. The rate is per vehicle, not per person, so the more people you have, the better the math looks against a shared seat or a rideshare.

A late-model black Chevrolet Suburban. This is the standard private vehicle for couples, families, and small groups heading to the Galveston cruise terminals. Door to door from any Houston address, with your driver meeting you at baggage claim on airport pickups.

A black Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van. Built for larger families, multi-cabin groups, and anyone traveling with a serious amount of cruise luggage. Everyone rides together in one vehicle, which matters when a shared shuttle would split your group across vans.

Both private vehicles include help with luggage and a fixed rate agreed at booking, with no surge pricing and no per-bag fee. On airport pickups we also track your inbound flight and meet you at baggage claim. On a home or hotel pickup neither applies, so we simply arrive at the time you set.

The shared Houston to Galveston shuttle runs between IAH, Hobby, and the Galveston cruise terminals only. It does not serve the suburbs, because a shared van only works when everyone is going the same way at the same time.

You ride with a few other cruisers, the fare is a flat $39 per seat one way, and standard cruise luggage is included. Unlike most shared shuttles in this market, every seat is protected: if a delayed flight or a late ship causes you to miss your pickup, you are refunded.

Shuttle Protection, included on every shared seat

Most shared shuttles to the Galveston cruise port are non-refundable. Ours is not. If a delayed flight, a canceled flight, or a late ship arrival causes you to miss your shared pickup, you get a full refund, and we will move you to a later van when there is room. You can also cancel for any reason up to 2 hours before pickup.

Refunds are returned less a small card processing fee. Full terms are shown at checkout.
